bronnie’s yoga

welcome to bronnie’s yoga

I began practicing yoga 10 years ago, shortly after having children and experiencing persistent lower‑back pain. At the time, I simply wanted to feel strong and comfortable enough to enjoy playing with my children without the aches that were holding me back. I was advised to try Pilates or yoga — and the moment I found yoga, something clicked. I never imagined that a decade later I would be teaching, but the practice became such a meaningful part of my life that sharing it with others felt like a natural next step.

Teaching has become one of my greatest joys. I’m especially passionate about supporting students who may feel unsure, self‑conscious, or convinced that yoga “isn’t for them.” I truly believe yoga is accessible to everyone, and I love helping people discover how the practice can be adapted, modified, and shaped to meet their unique needs and abilities.

Over the years, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for yoga nidra and more restful, nourishing practices, while still enjoying the creativity and flow of gentle movement. I also teach chair yoga, focusing on breathwork, mindful transitions, and accessible postures — often with longer, grounding holds when appropriate. My aim is always to create a space where students feel supported, empowered, and able to explore their practice with confidence and ease.

I’ve been practicing yoga for over 10 years and teaching for the past 4, offering both in‑person and online classes. My training spans accessible yoga, yoga for cancer, hot yoga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, and Yoga Nidra, and I teach both mat‑based and chair‑based practices.

My classes are gentle, inclusive, and designed for every body. I regularly lead all‑ability gentle flow sessions, as well as chair yoga for those with limited mobility or anyone spending long hours at a desk. My approach is steady, supportive, and always shaped by the needs of the student.

With specialist training in yoga for cancer, I’m able to guide students through their practice during treatment and beyond. These sessions are entirely student‑led, offering a safe and compassionate space to move, breathe, and reconnect.

I also offer corporate “yoga at your desk” sessions — 30 minutes of gentle movement to support shoulder health, ease tension, and bring a moment of calm into a busy workday. These sessions have become a popular way for teams to start or end the day feeling grounded and refreshed.
